Teaser

Alrighty... your blogmeister feels like he got run over by a massive herd of rabid kittens in search of bacon and skim milk, so this one's gonna be a quickie...

Back in 2008 yours truly got his hands on a new pikshur-maker just before the Geneseo airshow. On Thursday, the eve of the show, he was spending the afternoon on the deck out back of BuffaloWingz HQ, trying to figure out how to use the new gadget when he heard some very familiar noise from 'up there'. Looking up, grabbing the camera, popping the lens cap, and swinging the camera skyward in one fluid motion, your master of embellishment was able to snap about a dozen frames before this three-ship airshow teaser disappeared behind a monster bush that's masquerading as a tree in the neighbor's yard.

Anyhoo, here's a couple'a shots from that series... 'tis the pick of the bunch...

For those who are curious, the lead P-40 was Kittyhawk I AK899, flown by the late Bob Baranaskas... sadly, both he and AK899 were lost in 2009. The second Hawk was P-40M 'The Jacky C. II', and I have no info on the SNJ at the moment.

Fade to Black...
